Order Processing Procedure

When you entrust us with your order, you will find that our "old fashioned" business philosophy guarantees your satisfaction and assurance at every stage of the process.

With DaviSound, EVERY order is handled as a PERSONAL, CUSTOM order!
Expect thorough attention to detail and complete, personal attention from the initiation stage through final delivery!

Preliminary work begins on your order immediately upon our receipt of your order confirmation payment.

Your item(s) will be assigned a unique Product ID Number(s) and an invoice will be prepared detailing your purchase. You will be sent an email confirmation containing a .pdf copy of this invoice as an attachment within 24 hours of our receipt of your payment.

Our work rotation schedule is chronological and as soon as an item is shipped ...
the next in line moves up to the priority position.

This rotation schedule varies according to workload, and with the stage of completion an item is undergoing ...
But, we always allocate some daily attention to ALL current projects at all times!

As each piece nears completion, it receives ever increasing priority status in our fabrication procedure until it is readied for pre-shipment final testing, proofing and "burn-in".

You will be sent periodic progress updates on your order via personal email correspondence and you will be advised of the final test stage, as well as the shipping date, as soon as it is firmed. Then, once shipping has taken place ...
You will receive another email with the tracking/confirmation number.

WARRANTY AND POLICIES STATEMENT

Our warranty is unique and simple ... our products are guaranteed for life. This means that we will repair or replace (our option) any defective Tool Box, or custom built item, for as long as it is owned by the ORIGINAL PURCHASOR.

This warranty applies to all electrical specifications and covers all defects resulting only from normal use and NOT owner misuse or abuse. It does NOT apply to cosmetic defects nor to any mechanical defects caused by trauma ...
(such as dropping or other physical abuse).
Vacuum tubes are, of course, not covered under warranty in items utilizing tubes.

In the very unlikely event that repair is ever necessary ...
We will repair at NO COST except one way shipping! We will prepay return shipping.
Any such transaction should be arranged and confirmed with us prior to sending an item to us for repair.

Even if an accident or other situation should occur that causes damage not covered under warranty ...
Our repair services for our own products are always available at very modest rates
far below the industry standard rates for repair!

All warranties are void ...
if unauthorized internal tampering, modification or repair attempts have taken place!

This means that you can rest assured that you will always be treated with the utmost

We have been advised to publish the following statement:

DaviSound can not, and will not, be deemed liable or responsible, in any manner, for any occurrance that might result from any use, or misuse, of our products! All purchases signify consent that the purchaser / user is solely responsible for his/her own consequences to person, or property, in relation to any use, or misuse, of any DaviSound product!

Obviously, DaviSound products never have, and never will, "flood" the marketplace! This is inherently so because you can only build and deliver just so many handmade products over time. We have NEVER INTENDED to become a high volume "mass producer" in any fashion.

Yet, we feel there is adequate room for growth to accomodate ever increasing demand for our products without sacrificing our tedious fabrication/testing methods. We are constantly exploring ways to improve our fabrication efficiency with every project.

Nonetheless ...
EVERY DaviSound Tool Box or Custom Piece becomes a working reality
because of a mutual commitment and a mutual investment.

The extensive time we invest in fabricating each piece is irrecoverable.
For this reason we accept orders only from sincere clients ...
those who are as committed to seeing our projects through as we are.

We cannot afford to waste time with curiosity seekers or whimsical buyers!

ONCE WE ALLOCATE A TIME SLOT FOR A SPECIFIC CLIENT AND PROJECT,
THEN THAT BLOCK IS RESERVED FOR THAT CLIENT,
WITH EACH INCOMING ORDER HANDLED CHRONOLOGICALLY.

THIS IS WHY WE, LIKE MANY OF YOU WHO SELL STUDIO TIME,
ARE ACTUALLY "BOOKING TIME" AND AN IRREPLACABLE TIME SLOT,
AS WELL AS SELLING A PRODUCT, WITH EACH ORDER WE PROCESS.

THEREFORE ... ALL ORDERS ARE FIRM AND FINAL.

The average time from order initiation to delivery for one of our Tool Boxes is now about four to six weeks.
This continuously fluctuates, of course, depending upon the volume of orders at any given time.
It also varies somewhat from one type of item to the next.

The most rapid turn-around we have ever had for any Tool Box was around two weeks for a TB-12 (to date as of 2007) ...
but this is RARE!

As of 2005, due to increased demand, we added even more work stations so that we could have a few more items under fabrication in the rotation at any given time. Hopefully, this will continue to improve our product volume turn-out capability even more in the months to come.

As mentioned above, while we strive to become ever increasingly efficient in our fabrication methods to keep turn-around times to an absolute minimum in spite of continually increasing demand, there are many steps and stages involved in our hand assembly methods and fabrication techniques.

Most of these steps require time-consuming, meticulous attention to detail. In addition to hand wiring and soldering at the component level, several of the stages in cabinet preparation, and circuit module fabrication, require fixed prep and "cure" times, as well as "burn-in" times, which simply can not be altered.

Consider that the necessary, required time factor involved in the fabrication of our unique hand-made equipment is, in itself, one of the many special "ingredients" that helps to make DaviSound Tool Boxes' performance, and appearance, unlike any other pro audio product in the world today!

This is one of the reasons we do not submit promotional pieces or "loaners" for "reviewers" ...
We don't have "spare" new inventory sitting on shelves. Thankfully, to date, the demand for our gear has always exceeded supply. We build it, we test it, we ship it!

Aside from some developmental prototypes, we have NEVER built a Tool Box ...
without someone waiting patiently, albeit anxiously, for its delivery!

If your order happens to hit at an unusually "backed up" period, we will advise you and keep you posted of progress all along the way. Most of our clients anticipate their wants and needs well in advance and delivery time is not a factor.

The point is, if you want to own a DaviSound product ...
you can be sure that WE ALWAYS WANT AND APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS ...
and we will ALWAYS accomodate you ...
as long you are willing to invest the little extra time and patience it may take to get it!
